Dr. Steven Mamus graduated with honors from Harvard University and earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Syracuse. Dr. Mamus is a nationally renowned, board certified Oncologist and Hematologist. As Chief of Medical Oncology, he was instrumental in the development and operation of the state-of-the-art MD Anderson Cancer Center, Orlando. Dr. Steven Mamus is also the founder and Medical Director of the Cancer Center of Sarasota-Manatee, and has been given 36 National awards to date, including having been named a "Top Physician" by Best Doctors in America for 16 consecutive years.
Dr. Mamus is an expert witness in cancer related illnesses, blood disorders, bleeding and clotting disorders, product liability, standard of care issues, hospital medical staff liability, pharmaceutical liability (Pradaxa, Xarelto, Eliquis, Hormone Replacement Therapy, Estrogen, Progesterone, Prempro), wrongful death/delay in diagnosis, workers compensation, fraud and abuse (with forensic accounting if required), and pain management (for hematology and oncology patients).
